An encouraging start to the 24 hours of Le Mans
Unlike the Venturi who is fully involved with 5 cars entered in 1994 (and 7 the previous year), the Legeay Sport team only benefits from “lip service” from Alpine brand. .
With only one car at the start, it will have to bet on reliability rather than pure power. Small thumb of the GT2 field, the A610 “LM” will nevertheless succeed wonders for a first participation, proof of the quality of the staff.
On the one hand, with her number 60, she managed to finish the race, which is in itself an achievement, Venturi only managing to place one car at the finish, the 400 GTR of the Agusta team. Better still, it finished in a superb 5th place in its category, behind the Porsche 911 RSR and a Ferrari 348. Finally, in the general classification, it took a brilliant 13th place: this 1994 edition is therefore very positive for the team. Legeay.
